Remlu Inc. assists New York City Office of Emergency Management with September 2010 Preparedness Month program.

Remlu, Inc. a leading provider of preparedness programs, has been working with the Building Owners and Managers Association of New York (BOMA/NY), the New York City Office of Emergency Management (NYC OEM) and the American Red Cross to coordinate a program for preparedness information distribution for citizens and visitors of New York City.

Anita Ohm, Remlu’s Program Coordinator is leading the effort. “We are optimistic that with our presence at all of these prestigious locations we will be able to reach a vast audience,” said Ms. Ohm.  “The information and brochures that we will distribute will bring awareness to many New Yorkers on how to prepare for an emergency. The cooperation and enthusiasm demonstrated by BOMA/NY, NYC OEM, the American Red Cross, FDNY and the participating building owners and managers has been wonderful.”

OEM and FDNY have confirmed that there will be kick-off events on September 2nd at five sites across the city (Columbus Circle, Borough Hall, Flushing Library in Queens, Staten Island Ferry Terminal, and the Hub in the Bronx at 149th St and 3rd Avenue).
Remlu, Inc. along with OEM and the American Red Cross will be at the Time Warner Center to coordinate the Columbus Circle “kick off” event.
